The Natural Series: TRESemme!

Hey Everyone!

Today I'm going to be adding to the natural series with a post about TRESemme Naturals. TRESemme Naturals are actually the products that sparked the entire natural series here on le blog, I saw the advert for the range on TV and my ears pricked up at the words "hair that is 10 times stronger after just one use". That was it! I was sold! Then my brain got thinking about featuring a whole bunch of natural products here on my blog and that was it, the Natural Series was born :)

Anyway, onto the TRESemme Naturals products.

L-R: Vibrantly Smooth Shampoo, Vibrantly Smooth Conditioner and Non-Aerosol Hairspray

Vibrantly Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner
These both have certified organic coconut oil and jojoba extract in them and TRESemme claim they will help to control unwanted frizz and leave your hair smooth and soft, and of course 10 times stronger after one use.

When I use these (on my dry, brittle, parched, VERY bleached hair) I obviously just get a blob of the shampoo and work it into my hair without vigorously rubbing or scrubbing. To do this I sort of smooth it on in the same way you would a serum then start to gently work it in, I then rinse that out and liberally apply the conditioner all over, paying special attention to my fringe and ends. Whilst the conditioner is doing its thing, I wash/shave/do whatever needs to be done, and then rinse it out thoroughly.

As soon as I used this shampoo and conditioner for the first time my hair felt smoother, was easier to comb and brush through, and it blow dried a lot quicker. They smell amazing and when I straighten my hair there is noticably less breakage/little bits of hair all over me ;)

I use these every other time I wash my hair purely because I like to rotate my shampoos and conditioners and I can honestly say they have significantly improved the condition of my hair, I'm so impressed I've already been out and bought back-ups for when they run out! That's saying something because in my bathroom, things very rarely get repurchased!

♥ Aerosol Free Hairspray
OH. MY. GOD. Most of you are probably thinking WHAT on earth is aerosol-free hairspray?! And that is exactly what I thought at first too!

^appologies for the stock image, my camera randomly deleted my image of this!

This hairspray is basically in the same sort of bottle that you get heat protectant/leave in conditioner in. The 'blurb' on the bottle says that it contains sweet orange and aloe vera extracts and is humidity resistant. Personally, when I spritz this on my hair, I think it smells of watermelon. It's literally the nicest smelling hairspray in the world. No wheezing and choking and coughing and 'hairspray tongue' when you use this stuff!

I know I sound like some sort of TRESemme advert but this is geuinely, 100% honestly my new holy grail hair styling product. I use it in the following ways:

1. I spritz it all over my hair after straightening to hold my style and keep it smooth all day.
2. I spray it onto my roots and rub it in vigorously to give me the 'backcombed without any backcombing' look (and it works better than the backcomb in a bottle stuff in my humble opinion).
3. I spray it into my hair whilst its still wet and then blow dry it with a bristle brush if I'm having a 'straightener free' day because it helps to keep my hair smooth and in place all day!
4. I spritz a little of it onto my hairbrush before i brush my hair in the morning to get rid of any frizzy bits and flyaways.

Literally every day since I've been using it people have hugged me and said 'oooooooooh your hair smells soooo nice' or sniffed as I walked by and asked what I had on my hair! haha :)

I would 100% recommend that you go and purchase this, along with the shampoo and conditioner because I'm so impressed with them all. I've been using TRESemme since it first 'came out' when I was about 13? Maybe 14 (so 7-8 years eek!) and it never fails to really impress me, plus at such affordable prices you can't really say no!

The only thing I haven't tried from the Naturals range is the Weightless Volumising Mousse and I'll definitely be picking that up next time I'm in town :)

The TRESemme Naturals products are available from Boots, Superdrug, Tesco's, Sainsburys, Asda and Morrisons predominantly but you may be able to find it in places like Bodycare and Savers if you're lucky. The RRP is £5.39 for all of the products but I've noticed that at the moment Superdrug and Boots have some amazing offers on which makes these a lot cheaper (even though they're affordable even at full price) so go and stock up now!!
