the Illasmaqua website, its so difficult to use and confusing!! I think the nearest counter to me is manchester which sucks because im curious about their products and the quality of them.. oh well, if i can be bothered then i'll try an work it out haha!
I just want to quickly appologise with my lack of posts lately, im having some quite big problems in my new house and to be perfectly honest when i got in from work today i just had some food and went to bed, for the first time in a long long while i rang my dad and cried, think i worried him quite a lot actually :( as always though he managed to cheer me up and convince me that i was better than the person involved and that i just needed to rise above it, hopefully over the next few days ill manage to sort myself out but all ive done tonight is cry on stew and make his t-shirt wet! whoops... its extremely rare that i let things like this get to me but for some reason at the moment everything has just got on top of me so yeah..
by means of an appology for being so rubbish lately here are some photos of the make up i wore to go out with stew last night (i needed to get out of the house)
i took some with flash and some without as the lighting was awful and wouldn't show my make up well at all..
lat night i created my best ever smokey eyes, i went for the standard look but used 'beauty marked' e/s which is a deep black purple instead of just an intense black so yeah! ive been using my msf every.single.day, i absolutely LOVE the finish, its the perfect colour for me, a stunning pale pink with slight shimmer that ive been hunting for for ages!!
^ once again im really sorry for the crap photos, i make no claims of being a photographer and sometimes find taking photos for my blog really difficult, the photo with flash of my eyes closed makes it look as though i had a sharp line between my shadows! i did not!!!!!! i was so proud of this look because of how well blended it was, its the best smokey eye ive done so far :)
Face: mac sff in nc15, no 7 loose powder, mac msf in porcelain pink, natural collection bronzing pearls (to contour) and barbara daly for tesco illuminating powder buffed into my cheekbones..
Eyes: UDPP, mac e/s in white frost, dazzlelight, satin taupe, beauty marked, and statey black, sleek ink pot in black, the primer from l'oreal beauty tubes mascara (i snapped mine in half because i only like the white end! haha), no 7 lift and curve mascara, and l'oreal telescopic clean definition mascara.
why did i use three mascaras?
- primer, if you get it right can really really boost your lashes, i love using the white end of my l'oreal beauty tubes mascara to create a really WOW look for going out.
- mascaras with 'plastic' definition brushes are fantastic for getting every little lash and really defining and lengthening your lashes BUT the brushes dont 'hug' your lashes at the root... the more mascara you get in the roots of your lashes the more intense your final look will be!! i use my no 7 lift and curve mascara as a first coat to get some produt into the roots of my lashes as it has a soft mascara brush :)
- as i have mentioned above, plastic mascara brushes give more definition so i use the l'oreal clean definition over the top to finish my eyes off and make sure ive got every single tiny lash :)
Lips: just some naked honey body salve!
ohhhh life, i really hope you all like this :/ sorry its a bit rubbish :(
